Thunderbolt PTSA mission is to empower students by engaging families and all stakeholders to support building relationships, providing a safe environment, and honoring the whole child.

Thunderbolt PTSA Core Values include supporting student academic needs, celebrating student success, valuing our staff, and providing necessary resources.

Site-based Council

The purpose of the School Site Council is to encourage improvements in the school to meet the educational, behavioral, and emotional needs of students through a collaborative decision-making process.

The Thunderbolt Site Council meets at 5:30 p.m. in the school library. All are welcome to attend the meetings.

 

The Thunderbolt Site Council is composed of:   

  • Three (3) parents or guardians of students enrolled in the school who are not employed by the District in the school of proposed membership.
  • Three (3) teachers.
  • One (1) noncertificated employee.
  • Two (2) community members.
  • The principal of the school.

PACE (Parent and Community Engagement

At Thunderbolt, we follow a code of ethics that models our vision, an inclusive vision that seeks high achievement, excellence in instruction and an actively involved community. We pride ourselves in making a difference in our children's future. Student achievement and preparation for each student's success remains the priority of the school and staff. Establishing strong parental and community support of our students and school will help ensure our goals and students' academic achievement will be met.
