
🏅🌟 Big shoutout to Lake Havasu High School for helping us host an incredible track meet! Thunderbolt Middle School kicked off the season with our first invitational meet, going head-to-head with some tough competitors: Kingman Academy of Learning, Wallace Jr. High School, Fox Creek Jr. High School Kingman Middle School, Desert Star Academy, White Cliffs Middle School, and Emmanuel Christian School.
🥇 Congratulations to our outstanding athletes:
- **Boys 4x100 Relay Team**: Bently Taylor, Gavin Williams, Richard Duran, and Zy’yir Walker took home first place!
- **Julia Aston** clinched first in the girls' 1200m!
- **Kellan Mosley** dominated the track, earning first place in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events!
- **Rowen Hinojosa** finished strong with first place in the 400m!
- **Lionel Palafox** soared to victory, taking first in the boys’ high jump!
- **Bently Taylor** made a splash, finishing first in both the boys’ 100m and 200m events!

Congratulations to Hannah Vu and Sofia Lonial on receiving the Community Service Award presented by Havasu Masonic Lodge #64! They were both awarded scholarships for their hard work both in and out of school.

🌟 Thunderbolt Middle School welcomed all six sixth-grade NJHS students for an inspiring Leadership Luncheon! 🌟 We were thrilled to have Ginny Sautner, Principal of Starline Elementary, share her insights on leadership and the importance of building strong relationships. Emma Aston, Vice President of LHHS National Honor Society, motivated students by discussing the power of setting SMART goals and pursuing their dreams—an inspiring journey she’s embarking on as she prepares for college this year! Our dedicated NJHS students organized engaging activities and stations, where sixth, seventh, and eighth graders learned valuable leadership skills and new talents.

Mrs. D’Anjou has dedicated 21.5 years as the school librarian at Thunderbolt Middle School and will reach 23 years with the district by the end of May. She is an incredible person who helps manage our ISS department, she is on the Culture committee for Leader in Me, and is known for her kindness and exceptional support. Mrs. D’Anjou builds strong relationships and consistently goes above and beyond for both our school staff and students. Thunderbolt is so lucky to have you on campus!

The 8th Grade Dance Celebration is just 45 days away! Student Council is excited to offer this free event to celebrate our 8th graders moving on to high school! Students can reserve their spot from May 1st to May 13th.
